VDS RAISE £2550 FOR UKRAINE!

This month, The Village Dental surgery team, like many, were shocked and saddened by the devastating impact the war in Ukraine was and is still having on its citizens. We decided that it was crucial that we played our part and supported the people of Ukraine, who were in urgent need of help.

We decided to start our own Go Fund Me fundraiser to support the British Red Cross and their amazing humanitarian work in Ukraine. We were absolutely blown away by the superb support from the Cumbernauld community and our patients, we can’t thank you all enough.

We are delighted to say that we raised a total of £1275 from your generous donations, which our very own Dr Scott Edwards, as promised, doubled taking our total to £2550. What a total!

All the money raised will be donated to The British Red Cross to provide urgent shelter, food, medical services, education, and psychosocial support to those affected by the war.

We can’t thank you all enough for the support, donations and shares of our fundraiser. What an incredible difference this money will make!
